Content Writer's responsibilities include conducting thorough research on industry-related topics, generating ideas for new content types and articles before publication. This professional prepares and executes the content strategy, which may vary over time, where it is very clearly specified: the type of audience we are targeting (buyer persona), the topics to be discussed, the keywords (keywords to work with), the style and the most suitable formats for all the social platforms where the Cobuild Lab company has a presence

    • Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews, and studies).
    • Write clear institutional/informative/educative copy to promote our products/services.
    • Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems.
    • Submit work to editors and proofreading for input and approval.
    • Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles.
    • Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic.
    • Promote content on social media.
    • Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics.
    • Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images, and tone).
    • Update website content as needed.
    • Other assigned duties and responsibilities if needed.

Requirements

    • Proven experience as a Content Writer or similar role.
    • Portfolio of published articles.
    • Solid SEO knowledge.
    • Experience doing research using multiple sources.
    • Familiarity with web publications.
    • Excellent writing and editing skills.
    • Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. GitHub, HTML, WordPress).
    • Ability to meet deadlines.
    • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Marketing, English, or related field.
